(CNN)An elementary school in Washington, D.C. is apologizing after a lesson throughout which fifth grade school college students of shade have been requested to portray enslaved people.
In a letter despatched to households of students at Lafayette Elementary School, Principal Carrie Broquard known as the duty a mistake, saying that school college students “should not have been tasked with showing out or portraying completely totally different views of enslavement and wrestle.”
